So, with the economy woes constantly weighing on me, plus the fact that the flu has taken out my entire family…with a large family like ours, when one person gets sick it takes weeks to recover since we go down like dominoes – one person every couple of days …I’ve decided to try to uplift my spirits by writing about why I love Vera bags so much. I’d love to hear from you about why you love Vera Bradley, too, so please help me feel better by sharing your comments with me!

Personally, I like having a unique handbag and I really love the fact that I can buy a Vera bag in a particular style and color that fits my mood, and even though I see Vera bags everywhere I go, I know that I’ll rarely run into anyone who has the exact same bag as me. I just love to go shopping in the springtime when all the dresses and purses are so full of vibrant colors – it really makes me feel good to buy a new floral-print dress and a new Vera bag to go along with it. And the prices are reasonable enough that I can afford to buy a couple of Vera bags and not feel too guilty about it! Speaking of that, I’ll be really glad when I finally get my tax refund later this month!

I love the new prints. I admit it I am a tried and true purseaholic!! I love the personality of the vera bags. I love the variety of styles and prints and the quality. I bought my first vera 2 years ago and now have a good collection. I like to change things up frequently and the vera bags work great for me. I am in love w/green cupcakes. I am just trying to decide which style to buy. Keep the great patterns and styles coming!!!!

  2. I love Vera too. Her prints are all so cheerful Right now I am accessorizing an office with Raspberry Fizz Bulletin Board, folders, etc. I don’t like the new magnetic pocket on the backpack. Mine doesn’t stay closed and I have lost a few items out of it. Has anyone else had that problem?

My first vera bradley was such a treat. I found it at a consignment store and thought I had found the treasure of a lifetime. My sister talked me into it cause as we all know they are special and have a special price cause of their quality and are perfect for us that earn them. It’s retired and to me that makes it perfect for me.

My birthday is in April and I had no idea there were so many patterns and colors and different shapes till my sister told me I could go online and look for myself. Well she didn’t tell me she had already purchase one for my birthday. It’s so nice. It’s a retired Little Betsy and now I have two and loving it so much. Keep up the good work and before you know it I will have a whole collection,

Well I’ve been patiently waiting to see which print won the vote. Now I’m waiting for my birthday to come so I can spend my money on a wallet to match my purse I got from my sister. And I saw several smaller purses I really like. I told my husband and he thinks one purse is sufficent but not me. Maybe I’ll get a new spring purse. I really like the purple punch or even the cupcake green. I would be happy with either one. I’m so excided. I guess you could say I’m hooked on all the Vera Bradley designs.

Today is my second year wedding anniversary…anyone want to guess what the traditional gift for a second anniversay is??? You guessed it COTTON…what better way to tell the Hubs you want a new Vera bag and stay with tradition. I got the whole kit-n-kabootal today…feeling very spoiled.

He says,”wait to see what you are buying me”…that’s a scary thought!!!!

  7. Vera B. is more than a bag to me. I remember my very first purse and when, where and what motivated me to purchase that little bag. I had just found out I was had Stage III Cancer and sitting in my doctors office next to me a woman had this wonderful small hand-designed quilted bag that made me find a smile and feel just better admiring it as I tried to register the bad news.
I asked her about her little bag and she shared the designer and said “It is a little bag, with a big price tag” but I knew no matter the price it was MY BAG.
From that moment I became a collecter of her bags. On April 1, 2009 I decided since I had been collecting for 5 years, I would share my exclusive bags and donate some of them (8 bags) to the local American Cancer Society for an auction to raise money for Cancer Programs.
Vera B. would be amazed those little bags that gave me a great smile and a spark of light in my life on a dark day also gave a great cause $11,000.00 cash toward the fight of Cancer for many more fighting battles bigger than my first little handbag.
Now I can collect more, and know Vera B. is bringing smiles to many more woman. Thanks…for being a special designer. PS I still have my first handbag.
