Well, I’ve had this poll up for a while now and it appears that Purple Punch is definitely the most popular new spring pattern. So, I’m curious, have any of you changed your mind about this style since you voted? I’m asking because I purchased a PP Hipster a couple of months ago and I actually got a little tired of this pattern after wearing it a while….I still love the purple color, but with the black background it just seems too dark for most of the outfits I wear. I prefer to wear my Hope Garden Hipster instead. So, I decided to pack the Purple Punch bag away in my closet until cooler weather returns and I need to brighten up my fall wardrobe!
Speaking of polls, I will soon be posting a new poll to decide your favorite new and updated styles for spring. I’d also love to get your feedback on any new styles that you currently own (or would like to own) and how you feel about the bag and whether it holds everything you need. I really adore the new Gabby style, but since funds are tight right now, I really need to hear your comments before I purchase this bag. I’m sure there are lots of us out there who feel the same way about some of the newer VB styles. So, good or bad, feedback is greatly appreciated!
I love the purple punch. I favor the on the go bag. I am using the mod pink now. I wear a lot of turquoise so my java blue works for that!
I actually like hope garden a bit more for spring than purple punch. I saw the new summer (?) 2009 patterns on the vera website - bali blue, bali gold and a blue/navy pattern-and-darn-I-can’t remember what-its-called-but its nice!
My favorite of the 3 new patterns is bali gold.
all time fave is java blue though. Love it!!!
as far as bags go– i dont usually carry a lot of stuff so my mini hipster is perfect! I have it in the kensington pattern…I’d love to own one in java blue and mod floral pink.
I recently purchased a small tote in the “Hope Garden” pattern. I love both the pattern and the purse. I especially like the pockets on the inside of the bag. It is so much easier to find my keys, etc.
I would like to have a bag in every pattern, but that would be a little extreme.
I love, love, love the purple punch! Purple is my color and I wear something, in some shade of purple all the time so this bag - the bucket style, goes with everything. However, I must say that the background is not black. It is in fact a dark, chocolate brown.
Thanks, Donna! I’ve been wondering what color the background is for some time. I know it *almost* matches the brown buckle that is attached, but it’s still really dark. I think I’m a tad color-blind.
The On The Go works GREAT for short trips with my baby. My phone and keys fit on the end pockets, and there’s plenty of room inside for a few diapers, wipes, snacks, plus my wallet and all my other necessities.
The Maggie is plenty big enough for the trifold wallet and a few essentials, so I use that for my day to day purse.
I just bought a Purple Punch Hipster and really like it. I also got a matching all in one wallet. I love the dark BROWN background. Whatever the time of year, I love to wear dark brown pants with purple, touquoise, bright pink, bright yellow tops. I add a few brown earthy accessories like jewelery and my Purple Punch bag and I look hot!
